#1 Contenders Tournament Set For SmackDown Live

The New Day captured their 5th WWE Tag Team Championships on SmackDown Live after Rowan’s injury forced a switch. Now Paige is figuring out how to determine who they will face next.

There will be a triple threat tag team match for the next two weeks on SmackDown Live and a third match the next week which will be a singles match. This will help narrow down the playing field.

The Bar, The Club, and the returning Colons are set to face each other in the first triple threat tag team match this week. The second match will take place in 2 weeks and a 3rd match will determine the New Day’s Hell In A Cell opponents.

This is a lot of trouble to go through to get a #1 contender, but SmackDown Live could certainly use some freshening up when it comes to the tag team division.
