You never know what can happen in WWE and NXT grooms talent for that unpredictability. Gargano lost to Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn, but fans of Johnny Wrestling didn’t let him forget about it when the time came to take the next strings of shows.

Johnny Gargano ended up receiving chants of “Johhny Failure” and then received a goodbye song when he left the ring. We’re not going to spoil anything else, but Bryan Alvarez spoke about this on Wrestling Observer Live.

“All I can tell you is this for like 2 months now I’ve said ‘he’s gotta be turning heel’ from how they’re doing this. Dating back to the prior TakeOver. They’re building up to Johnny just losing his mind and going crazy.”

Only time will tell just how bad it will hurt to see Gargano as a heel, but it looks like we might need to prepare for it.
