Possible Main Event Match For The Shield At Hell In A Cell

Hell In A Cell is less than 4 weeks away right now and although the arena hosting the event said they would be having Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens on the show, apparently the card was subject to change.

Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that “it’s gotta be” a main event of Braun Strowman vs Reigns at this point. It certainly seemed like that was what WWE was building toward in the closing moments of Raw, but The Shield got in the way.

“I guess you could do something with The Shield vs Strowman and 2 partners. If you want to put The Shield together against Strowman, Lashley, and Balor.”

Only time will tell what direction WWE goes with Hell In A Cell, but Paul Heyman certainly isn’t getting the main event he wants with Brock Lesnar’s rematch.
