The Shield Returns On Raw After SummerSlam

Roman Reigns defeated Finn Balor to retain the Universal Championship on the Raw after SummerSlam, but that’s not the end of the story.

Braun Strowman came down to the ring with his Money In The Bank contract and kicked Roman down. Then he handed over his MITB contract and prepared to cash in.

Suddenly, The Shield’s music hit and out came Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose wearing Shield vests. The Hounds Of Justice attacked Strowman and they took him out one move after another.

Then Ambrose cleared off an announce table for a Shield powerbomb. It looks like Strowman’s cash-in didn’t count either because the bell never rang. But The Shield didn’t get to pull off their Shield Triple Powerbomb without a fight, even though they did get the job done eventually.
