The UFC’s new business deal with ESPN seems to have come at the perfect time considering that a slew of top-named fighters like Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz, and George St. Pierre are all eager to make a return to the mat. Now Jon Jones name can be added to that list.
“Bones” released a training video just a couple of days ago, showing off some DANGEROUS power shots that sound similar to an artillery cannon firing off a killshot. The 50 second clip got a lot of people talking about the former UFC champion’s one shot knockout power, and have fight fans anxious to see him return to the octagon.
Jones himself is aware of how quickly the video traveled around, and took to Twitter to reveal that he never left the USADA testing pool.
Jones last fight was back in July of 2017 against Daniel Cormier, where originally he won by knockout, but the ruling was overturned due to a positive test for Turinabol. (An anabolic steroid.)
What this means for his future, or the future of the UFC remains to be seen, but it’s clear the list of potential opponents for “Bones” is endless.
