Daniel Bryan May Be Locked Into WWE for Another Year Even If He Doesn’t Re-Sign

As previously reported, Daniel Bryan mentioned that one of the reasons he has yet to sign a new contract with WWE is because of wanting more time off to spend with his family and for the first time he actually has a lawyer reviewing the terms of the deal.

While speaking with Sky Sports, Daniel Bryan mentioned that he may re-sign his new contract with WWE as early as this weekend but if he doesn’t sign, WWE has the option to keep him locked into the company for another year.

“I might even be signed with WWE by the end of this weekend. Who knows? But I might not be.”

“But what we just found out recently is that WWE has an option year so that could have kicked in too.”
