As seen on Sky Bet, the betting odds have shifted for one of the biggest matches during SummerSlam weekend – The Miz vs Daniel Bryan.
The two men, who compete on SmackDown Live, are set to finally square off in a rivalry that has lasted for the better part of eight years. They’ve gone back and forth on social media and on WWE television throughout that time for a variety of different purposes, but now, the talk is over.
The betting odds for this match have fluctuated back and forth with The Miz starting off as the favourite before Daniel Bryan began to lead as the most likely competitor to come away with the win.
Now, however, with just under 48 hours remaining until the biggest party of the summer, The Miz is once again the slim favourite at 8/11 with Bryan being the 1/1 underdog.
The build towards this match has been heavily praised in recent weeks, as Bryan & Miz continue to lead the way as two of the best all-around superstars in professional wrestling today. We’ll never truly know how they feel about one another outside of the ring, but in it, their story will go down in history as one of the best feuds of this generation.
A lot of fans would love nothing more than to see this be the main event of the evening on Sunday night, but given the enormity of the Universal & WWE Championship matches, it doesn’t seem like that’s going to be the case. Alas, fans can still watch the show knowing that they’re finally going to get the match they’ve been waiting oh so long to see.
