Rey Mysterio Reveals Details of On-Going WWE Negotiations

While speaking with The Miami Herald, Rey Mysterio mentioned that he’s been trying to work out a deal with WWE and right now it’s still up in the air and nothing has been secured yet.

“We started off with the Royal Rumble at the beginning of the year in January. There was another offer on the table to do the Greatest Royal Rumble, and in between those two events, we’ve been going back and forth in conversations, trying to work out the right deal. It’s still up in the air. Nothing [is] secure, yet.”

While Mysterio mentioned that nothing has been secured, the belief is eventually the two parties will come to an agreement. The last we heard there was an issue with the number of dates Rey wanted to work.
