Ring of Honor has quite a history of eyeballing the next potential big star in the sport of professional wrestling. The long lineage of superstars who started in the federation before transitioning over to WWE, IMPACT, or New Japan proves that ROH is a massive goal for young talent, and adding them to your resume will be the stepping stone they need to reach the heights they strive for. (Not to say that ROH isn’t already a massive achievement for wrestlers considering their global achievements.)
Well…they’ve just added their stamp of approval to another well-known indy study.
Confirmed by PW Insider, Flip Gordon has signed a deal with ROH that will run extensively until 2020. Flip has recently been on the hunt to gain a spot on the supercard ALL IN, and nearly claimed said spot when he took on Nick Aldis for the NWA Heavyweight Championship. Gordon has been working extensively all around the globe, but this new contract with Ring of Honor could mean that the fed has big plans for the 26 year old from Weymouth Massachusetts.
We’ll release more details about the contract as they come. Excited for Gordon? Do you still think he makes it onto the ALL IN card?
