Big Sign WWE Is Breaking Up Popular Team

Rusev Day have sold a ton of merchandise since the catchphrase really became a sensation. But now it looks like with Lana’s insertion into the team and her dropping the Russain accent, Rusev and Aiden English could be headed to splitsville.

Rusev lost a match against Andrade Cien Almas this week on SmackDown Live. But it was the events that led to his loss that really matters here.

Lana had words with Zelina Vega outside of the ring. Zelina slapped Lana so the Ravishing Russain tackled Vega. Aiden English ran down to break up the catfight, but Zelina jumped on his back causing him to crash into Lana.

All of this distracted Rusev and he ended up eating a loss because of it. As he looked on in disbelief that he could go from having a WWE Championship match at Extreme Rules to losing on SmackDown the seeds have been planted even deeper for a split from Aiden English.

It was revealed backstage that Rusev isn’t returning Aiden’s phone calls. While Lana and Aiden argued, Rusev yelled: “Enough! Maybe none of you are good for Rusev Day!” Then he left.
