When Daniel Bryan Wants To Retire

Total Bellas this week featured Daniel Bryan’s big announcement that he was cleared to return to the ring. They showed the speech and went backstage afterward where he called his wife Brie Bella who said she had no idea he would say anything about her.

Bryan said he came back to wrestling partly because of his daughter Birdie. He said he wants her to remember him wrestling at least partly in her life before he retires. Then Bryan revealed that “in a perfect world I would wrestle into my 70’s.”

This is a pretty great thing to hear from Daniel Bryan because he was shelved for two years by WWE. Daniel said if WWE wasn’t going to clear him, then he was going to leave and Brie said she would support anything he does.

She might be supporting him for a very long time if his pro wrestling career really does stretch into his 70’s.
