Vince McMahon’s Plan For Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is still Universal Champion and on his way back to the UFC. The only issue is the fact that they need to figure out something with his title first.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Vince McMahon wants it to look like Brock Lesnar walked out of WWE and is holding the title up not letting anyone challenge for it. Of course, the intention for this is to get whoever beats Lesnar over as a babyface.

It was noted that the idea is to get Roman Reigns cheered at the Barclays Center when he presumably becomes Universal Champion. This angle has actually damaged Brock Lesnar’s popularity in WWE and not done a whole lot to really help Reigns.

It was noted that McMahon is still very much in control of the situation and not Lesnar who is still under WWE contract until the end of August. So none of this is Lesnar’s doing at all and it’s all still up to Vince McMahon.
