Reason WWE Changed the Start Time for Takeover Shows

We reported over the weekend that NXT Takeover events are going to be moving the start time to an hour before they normally start. At the time of press it was unknown exactly when this will take place or why WWE decided to make the change.

In an update, PWInsider reports that the company made the decision to move the events to a 7PM start time in order to make the events uniform with WWE pay-per-view events. The new start time will kick off in August with the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn event.
