Shinsuke Nakamura Bitten By Police Dog

Shinsuke Nakamura was pulled from his US Title match against Jeff Hardy due to an injury. The specifics of that injury weren’t disclosed at the time but now it looks like we have our answer.

Dave Meltzer reports Shinsuke Nakamura was bitten by a police dog around Bakersfield, CA where SmackDown Live held a live event last night.

This isn’t the first time a big title opportunity was blown thanks to an unfortunate injury but it might be the first time the injury was a police dog bite. Now Jeff Hardy will hold a US Open Challenge instead and we wonder who will show up now.

At this time we don’t have any more specifics regarding what happened other than Nakamura was reportedly bitten by a police dog. Let’s hope he is able to heal up and it’s not too bad.
