Cody Rhodes doesn’t need WWE anymore because he’s doing just fine on his own. But he can look around and see plenty of people he’s working with that would probably love a shot with WWE.
As All In approaches WWE might need to pay attention to some of the people behind all of this hype. Even if they can’t hire Cody Rhodes or The Young Bucks they can still pick off a few people who they might want that are a part of the indie revolution as well.
One fan asked Dave Meltzer if WWE was going to do anything aggressive in the Chicago market before All In. “Nope and tickets are sold, all they can do it try and sign the talent on the show and pull them, and most are under contract elsewhere past that date,” Meltzer replied.
Then Cody Rhodes replied and took a shot at the Triple H photo-ops with newly signed talent and the fact that the WWE Performance Center is going back to wrestling school. We wonder who he’s talking about if he has anyone specific in mind.
