Big Championship Match Booked For SmackDown Live

Paige is the current GM of SmackDown Live and she’s looking to bring as many great matches to the Blue Brand as possible. Now it looks like we’re going to be getting a big match this week for the United States Title.

Jeff Hardy has been US Champion since defeating Randy Orton but after MITB where he didn’t defend the title but Nakamura did lose the WWE Championship match against AJ Styles, it looks like Paige is putting those two ideas together.

Therefore, we will see Jeff Hardy put his US Title on the line against Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown Live this week. It’s a pretty great decision on Paige’s part.

Only time will tell if we actually see a title change on SD Live this week, but it could at least be the start of Nakamura’s next direction.
