It is no secret that Alberto Del Rio and Triple H aren’t the best of friends. Del Rio went on a drunk rant about Hunter last year and vented out his frustrations with his former boss.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, the former World Champion seemed to have given us an update about his relationship with Triple H.

Del Rio doesn’t address his former boss directly but it is heavily implied that Triple H is indeed the man in question.

Del Rio was asked about his relationship with the WWE and he responded by saying that they’re on good terms. He specified that he was always on good terms with Vince McMahon but had a beef with Triple H.

We’re good. I mean I’ve always been on good terms with Vince McMahon. I mean the other stuff, is like, it’s public knowledge. My stuff with other people.

Vliet asked Del Rio if things were still the same between the two or if they had made amends. Del Rio confirmed that he personally apologized to Hunter and that they’re good.

No no we’re good. I was telling one of my good friends that I always take responsibility of my actions and I got it wrong, I made a mistake and I misjudged someone in the company last year and you know, being the man I am, I called them and I apologized for that and we’re good. I mean we’re good, they’re just going in a different direction than I am going.

I don’t want to be tied up to any company. I don’t want to sign any contracts. Thank God I did well, I did pretty well. And I saved my money, invested my money and I have this other stuff going on. So I don’t have to [return] but again, if I have to because the other stuff doesn’t work, then well, you’ll see me here for many years to come.
