We reported last month that there were plans to give Big E a singles push but many would question those reports after the company didn’t put him in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Mike Johnson indicate on today’s installment of PWInsider Elite Audio that the plans are still in place to push Big E and revealed that originally there were plans at one point to have him represent The New Day in the Money in the Bank ladder match this past Sunday.

“There has been a lot of talk about giving Big E a singles push. At one point he was supposed to be The New Day representative in Money in the Bank, obviously they changed that and Kofi Kingston was in. Now Big E is back in the game, he’s in the gauntlet match. Very curious to see with that they’re going to do with Big E.”
