Braun Strowman is now Mr. Money In The Bank. Raw won both briefcases at MITB and although Alexa Bliss cashed in to become new Raw Women’s Champion once again, The Monster Among Men is still going to carry around a guaranteed championship match contract.

Dave Meltzer revealed during Wrestling Observer Radio that someone in WWE told him something a few weeks ago that makes so much more sense now regarding WWE’s plans for SummerSlam. When all is said and done, we might be looking at the Champion Among Men soon enough.

“So I had a conversation with somebody a couple weeks ago and it was about Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at SummerSlam and they didn’t say this but now when I look back and Braun Strowman won it was kind of hinted.”

“Obviously this thing has been planned for a while where you know something’s going down at SummerSlam and I think that the idea is they want you to believe Braun is winning the title and maybe he is. Maybe like Roman beats Brock and then Braun cashes in on Roman right away, I mean they could do it.”

“But something along those lines because Roman does have to beat Brock Lesnar before he leaves. Because he’s lost so many times that he’s got to do it but if they end the show with Roman winning people are going to freak out, it’s New York it’s just going to be an ugly scene. If they end the show with Braun winning, with Brock losing so he’s out of the picture but Roman Reigns winning but losing in the same night it will be an incredibly happy ending it will be so satisfying I mean they could do that too.”

Only time will tell, but it looks like WWE might have some plans down the line for SummerSlam where the crowd will be able to leave the Barclays Center much happier than expected.
