This Sunday, come Money in the Bank, five different championships will be on the line. Combine that with the fact that Money in the Bank contracts could be used, and things become very interesting. It will no doubt be somewhat exciting to see what changes after Sunday. Who will walk away with the gold in their hands?

the bludgeon brothers

Right now, I honestly don’t think that good ol’ Gallows and Anderson have a chance of usurping the Bludgeon Brothers at Money in the Bank. I’m at least hoping to see a competitive match between the two teams. They could probably put on a really good match.

Harper and Rowan have had a stranglehold on the tag team division. Meanwhile, Gallows and Anderson have both struggled in the past to build any sort o meaningful momentum for themselves. Raise your hand if you remember that they walked into Wrestlemania 33 as Raw Tag Team Champions.

Add the fact that Sanity is lurking in the shadows, and all signs really point to a Bludgeon Brothers victory. The opportunity to have the certifiably spooky Bludgeon Brothers face off against the certifiably spookier Sanity is just too good to pass up. It’s just a matter of time until the freakshow arrives.

Elias

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Elias is one of NXT’s best successes. Despite lukewarm to borderline vitriolic responses down in NXT, Elias is now one of the most popular superstars on Raw’s roster. Night after night, people want to walk with Elias. Who’d have thought that Elias would become a staple of Raw?

The Drifter is set to face Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank for the Intercontinental Championship, and I think there’s a very good chance that he walks away from Chicago with the IC title in his possession. Elias has been on the cusp of greatness for a while now, but he’s not quite got it yet. How many notable Elias victories can you name?

Now would be a good time to capitalize on Elias’ momentum by having him defeat Seth Rollins in a really good match. This would solidify the fact that Elias is a big deal.

As for Rollins, a loss against Elias would allow him to move into the Universal Championship picture, because God have mercy on our souls if Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar face off again.

carmella

Yes. I seriously doubt that Asuka is winning at Money in the Bank. She definitely will get her hands on the Smackdown Women’s Championship; it just won’t happen at Money in the Bank. Carmella’s reign just started, and I feel that to end it right now would just be such a waste of time. Sure, Carmella isn’t exactly a great wrestler, but she’s doing fine promo-wise, and her character work is top-notch. I see no reason to extend the feud a little bit past Money in the Bank.

I know people would probably riot and murder several elderly people should Carmella beat Asuka clean as a doctor’s hands, but she doesn’t have to win clean. She’s a heel. And there are a lot of people who have gots beef with Asuka. Perhaps the IIconics run interference and make sure Asuka loses. Maybe Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville will choose to make a statement to former-best-friend-now-bitter-enemy Paige. Heck, maybe Charlotte will interfere just for the giggles.

Point is, Carmella’s retaining.

shinsuke nakamura

Who’d have thought that a feud between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura would be all about dick-kicking? I wouldn’t have thought so in a million years. Still, I’ve enjoyed the feud. Despite the weak finishes and the slightly underwhelming Wrestlemania match, the feud’s delivered. Nakamura is a slimy asshole, and AJ is just a really angry dude.

I believe that after it all, it will be Nakamura who will be the Last Man Standing. AJ’s had a great reign, but I truly believe that it is Nakamura’s time now. Should he become WWE Champion, it will be interesting to see who challenges the King of Strong Style. Daniel Bryan? Randy Orton? Who knows?

It’s time for this feud to end, and it’s time for Nakamura to become the WWE Champion.

Anybody except ronda rousey

The way I see it, there is no way Ronda Rousey walks out of Chicago as Raw Women’s Champion. Mind you, I don’t think she is going to lose to Nia Jax. I just don’t see her leaving with the gold. Make no mistake about it: Nia Jax is getting destroyed, but Ronda does not walk away from Money in the Bank as a champion.

Maybe someone interferes. Who exactly, I don’t know. Maybe Nia Jax gets disqualified for whatever reason. But maybe Ronda Rousey does actually win the match. She won’t hold the title for long.

This newfound friendship between Ronda Rousey and Natalya is bound to fall apart soon. A cash-in from the Queen of Harts would put that friendship on the fastrack to the incinerator. But it doesn’t have to be Natalya who cashes in.

Pretty much every superstar on Raw’s Women’s division has a higher chance of leaving Sunday as the Raw Women’s Champion. Perhaps Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, or Ember Moon wins the briefcase and cashes in on Ronda Rousey. They could easily take advantage of a spent and wounded champion.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet has the odds stacked against her.
