Another Reason Authors of Pain Haven’t Been Used on Television

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that one of the reasons The Authors of Pain haven’t been around is because one of the two has been dealing with a visa issue. The issue has since been cleared up and they can return to television.

Meltzer noted this week that WWE hasn’t had anything creatively for the team and that’s also why they haven’t been used. Right now the focus point for the RAW tag team division is getting The B Team and Ziggler & McIntyre over. The belief is they don’t want AOP to become another one of those “Slater & Rhyno” acts so they are holding off until they have something good for when they return.
