By way of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, we now know when the next crop of recruits will report to the WWE Performance Center and which Superstars have been signed to a WWE UK deal.

If the report by the Observer is to be believed, several new talents will begin working at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida in July. These stars include, but are not limited to Io Shirai, Deonna Purrazzo, Luke Menzies, Daniel Vidot, Stacy Ervin, Jr. and Keith Lee.

On that note, WWE is intending on holding another tryout at the Performance Center soon, with several athletes already scheduled. Some of these names include NCAA wrestler Jacob Kasper and Dorin Dickerson, who played for the Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions in NFL.

In terms of WWE UK signees, it has been confirmed that Charlie Morgan and Nina Samuels have signed “extended tryout” contracts. What these are, according to the Observer, are deals guaranteeing tryout participation without signing them to deals.

Furthermore, any WWE UK deals prevent talent from working with the ITV World of Sport promotion as they begin their product over in that area. Mark Coffey, brother to UK Championship Tournament entrant Joe Coffey, and Wild Boar have similar deals to Morgan and Samuels. In fact, it is being reported that at least 12 talents on the ITV list chose to sign with WWE instead.

Independent star Chris Brookes was also offered a WWE UK contract but has turned it down. At this time we have no news on why that decision was made, but we will update you if anything comes to light.

Also of note, Revolution Pro has now confirmed that talents signed with WWE UK deals in any capacity will no longer be able to appear at their shows, due to the working relationship between themselves and New Japan Pro Wrestling. WWE obviously has working relationships in the UK with PROGRESS Wrestling and Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), so the talent still has a number of places to work.

Due to this decision, Travis Banks and Jinny are both done with the promotion, as they are signed to deals with WWE. This decision also led to Jinny, who was the Revolution Pro Women’s Champion, to lose the Championship to Jamie Hayter just last weekend.

Who do you want to sign with WWE from the UK?
