Indie Wrestler Vows To Help Marty Jannetty Pay For Surgeries

It’s been a long time since Marty Jannetty and Shawn Michaels were bouncing around a WWE ring as The Rockers.

Marty Jannetty faced off against Bad Boy Joey Janela in the opening round of AIW’s JT Lightning Invitational Tournament on Friday night and his body had seen better days.

The two fought until Jannetty finally couldn’t kick out and Janela won the match meaning he moved on in the tournament but before he left the ring Joey made a huge promise to the former Rocker.

Marty Jannetty wasn’t doing too good and pushed through a huge amount of pain to finish the match. You can see a pretty tough table bump in a video below to prove that point.

But Joey Janela was impressed and sent out a tweet vowing to Jannetty saying: “I never seen a man fight through pain like I did tonight, as soon as I find out how much surgery is I will start the go fund me page to help him get the surgeries he so desperately needs! Thank you Marty!”

This was a huge show of respect and could very well end up helping Marty Jannetty out as well.
