When To Expect The Mae Young Classic II

The Mae Young Classic was just about all WWE could talk about for a bit of time last summer and brought some top female talent to WWE. But even though there was a graphic for the Mae Young Classic II displayed in a hype video promoting upcoming WWE Network programming during WrestleMania, the tournament hasn’t seemed to come together just yet.

Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens recently commented on how he was told the second edition of the Mae Young Classic should be taking place in July or August but since it’s already May and nobody has anything it’s doubtful WWE will get it together by then.

Of course, WWE could always pull something together at the last minute but odds are if the Mae Young Classic II takes place we would hear about the initial planning when they start making calls to talent outside of WWE.
