Why Paige Missed SmackDown Live This Week

Paige just became the SmackDown Live General Manager and she’s already missing work. Shane McMahon wasn’t there either which is interesting because it was speculated that he might be missing the Greatest Royal Rumble too since Kurt Angle didn’t mention him on Raw this week when he should have.

A lot of people were wondering where Paige was because she wasn’t in Louisville, KY for SmackDown this week. Daniel Bryan mentioned her saying that she booked a match with him against Big Cass, but that was the only mention she received. Apparently, this booking decision was done on the phone because Paige was back at home with her family in the UK.

Paige was able to go home and spend some quality time with her family recently. She’s been updating her Instagram with stories of her hanging out with old friends and revisiting her former stomping grounds. Therefore it doesn’t look like there’s anything bad going on with Paige. She just got some much-needed vacation time to go back to the UK for a bit but she should be back soon enough.
