Original Finish & Backstage Reaction to Ronda Rousey’s WrestleMania Match

Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that people backstage were impressed by Ronda Rousey’s WrestleMania 34 match with her movement and footwork as well as her athletic ability and her angry facial expressions. Ronda however did go through a year of training for wrestling and was preparing for the WrestleMania match for months.

There was a rumor going around before WrestleMania that instead of Stephanie McMahon, Ronda Rousey would win the match by tapping out Triple H with the armbar. The company decided to go with Stephanie due to continuity reasons for the storyline as Ronda attacked Stephanie’s arm once again on RAW after WrestleMania.
