Speculation on Which Match Will Close WrestleMania This Year

Mike Johnson speculated on the latest installment of PWInsider Elite Audio that Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle vs. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H could close WrestleMania if Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns doesn’t close the show.

“I think if the main event isn’t Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, it will be Triple H and Stephanie McMahon against Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle.”

Dave Meltzer mentioned in last week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the match order probably won’t be decided for a few more weeks but did indicate that the plan has always been for Reigns vs. Lesnar to main event the show.

“The match order itself almost surely won’t be decided until a few more weeks although out of deference to the fact the show was to be built around Roman Reigns winning the Universal title from Brock Lesnar for more than a year, that was always the choice to be the main event.”

With that being said, it appears that Reigns vs. Lesnar will close the show. We will keep you posted if we receive any other information regarding the closing match for WrestleMania or any other WrestleMania-related articles.
