Dave Meltzer discussed the news of Daniel Bryan being cleared on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Live and was asked about Bryan’s schedule. While it was reported yesterday that Bryan was looking to do only 60-80 dates per year, it’s now being said he wants a schedule similar to Randy Orton’s. However, Meltzer indicated that his schedule hasn’t been fully worked out yet.

“I know that he wants — not a 200 day a year schedule. He wants a pretty regular schedule. I would probably say a “Randy Orton” schedule but it’s not worked out,” Meltzer explained.

Meltzer also revealed that there were last-minute rewrites to Tuesday’s SmackDown episode because Bryan was only cleared a few hours before the show went live. WWE had no plans of the Bryan’s physical altercation with Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn until late into the day.
