Drew McIntyre Close to WWE Return

Drew McIntyre is close to returning to action soon.

McIntyre was sidelined with a torn bicep back at the NXT Takeover: War Games event in November. His injury required surgery. McIntyre begun working out in the ring at the WWE Performance Center back in January. Originally he was slated to return in April.

While McIntyre could return at NXT Live Events, he won’t be appearing on television as WWE has already taped all the shows leading into NXT Takeover: New Orleans event. That means, he likely won’t be appearing on television until after WrestleMania.
