It was reported earlier today that Brock Lesnar was scheduled to appear at Monday’s RAW in Anaheim, California to have a faceoff with Roman Reigns but the segment never happened because Lesnar never showed up to RAW. Lesnar was scripted in the first and second scripts for the show and his absence was acknowledged by Reigns during an in-ring segment.

According to PWInsider, original plans included a lengthy back and forth promo between Reigns, Paul Heyman and Lesnar. The segment was expected to kick off in the second hour of the show, with Lesnar calling Reigns a “bitch.” Neither Lesnar nor Heyman were in Anaheim on Monday but we do know Lesnar was in Las Vegas on Sunday to meet with UFC President Dana White, as White tweeted out a photo of the two. Lesnar did not visit the Elimination Chamber event either that was nearby.

There is a chance that Lesnar could have skipped RAW as a hardline way of negotiating with WWE as his contract with the company is set to expire shortly after WrestleMania 34. WWE could have also been upset wtih Lesnar for the photo he had taken with White and told him not to come to the show. Both of these theories are speculation at this point.

Lesnar is scheduled to face Kane at Saturday’s WWE Live Event in Chicago and also scheduled to return to TV on the March 12 episode of RAW from Detroit. WWE also covered Lesnar’s absence and mentioned that they reached out to Heyman for comments but he offered none.
