There is speculation that Superstars from the NXT brand will be brought up to debut on the main roster soon with WrestleMania 34 right around the corner.
Historically, WWE brings up talents from NXT following a major pay-per-view or an interesting storyline is planned. The greatest number of call-ups typically occurs the nights after WrestleMania with Shinsuke Nakamura, Tye Dillinger, and The Revival all debuting on the main roster after last year’s show.
This year’s top candidates includes the following names from NXT:
* The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar, with Paul Ellering)
* SAnitY (Eric Young, Nikki Cross, Alexander Wolfe, and Killian Dain)
* Johnny Gargano
* Roderick Strong
* The Iconic Duo (Peyton Royce and Billie Kay)
* No Way Jose
With WWE bringing up several talents during the third and fourth quarters last year from NXT, it’s very possible that they actually cut back on the number of talents this year. WWE recently brought up Hideo Itami, Buddy Murphy, Mandy Rose, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Asuka, Ruby Riott, Mark Andrews and Sonya Deville. We wouldn’t be surprised if less talents are brought up after WrestleMania this year.
