Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newletter that Samoa Joe won’t be back until mid-March as he’s not being advertised on the Madison Square Garden show.

A mid-March return would indicate that he will be on the WrestleMania 34 card, as the show takes place the first week of April. It’s unknown at this time exactly what the company has planned for him. He was originally slated to work a program with Cena prior to his injury but WWE could have nixed those plans all together.

Speaking of the mid-march MSG event, matches for the show include Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman vs. Kane for the WWE Universal title, Miz vs. Roman Reigns for the Intercontinental title and John Cena vs. Elias.
