Several Production Changes at Sunday’s Royal Rumble

PWInsider reports that there were several changes with the production for Sunday’s Royal Rumble event. While the Women’s Rumble match was always slated to close the show, the order of matches kept changing over the course of the day.

Many of the female stars booked for The Rumble were only book partially because the company wanted to have a celebration of all the women who have helped build the women’s division to what it is today. Some female talents that appeared in the match were booked weeks ago, while others weren’t booked to appear until last Monday.

While Molly Holly denied publicly that she would not be a part of the match, she was actually booked right after the match was announced.
