WWE Officials Deny Enzo Amore’s Request to Defend Title on Monday’s RAW

As previously reported, Enzo Amore was hospitalized after he became ill over the weekend but checked himself out of the emergency room in Miami.

According to PWInsider, Amore showed up at RAW about an hour before the show started and was trying to plea with management to get the green light to defend his cruiserweight championship against Cedric Alexander. WWE officials told him to go back to his hotel because they weren’t going to allow him to perform sick.

WWE played up to his sickness in a backstage segment with Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss on the show.
