Rob Van Dam’s WWE Career Over Due to Concussion

The Blast revealed legal documents in Rob Van Dam’s on-going divorce with his estranged wife Sonya that he is no longer able to perform for WWE due to a concussion that he suffered last year outside of the company.

According to the docs, RVD suffered a concussion that “caused visual impairment” and has “disqualified him from working for the WWE.” The said incident took place at a PCW show back on November 12th, 2016. (See video below)

RVD included a copy of WWE’s Concussion Management Program protocol, as well as a medical evaluation from earlier in the year confirming his concussion.

RVD also mentioned that merchandising contract with WWE ended in July 2017 and will not be renewed.
