Alexa Bliss Vs. Mickie James – Alexa Bliss
* This entire angle has had some fairly weak storytelling in his opinion, and he feels a great heel like Bliss deserves more in-depth storytelling. He thinks the entire ‘old woman’ angle is wore out and it showed very little creativity on the part of WWE’s creative team. Either way, he predicts that Bliss will retain here.
The Shield Vs. Miz/Sheamus/Cesaro/Strowman/Kane – The Shield
* Taz believes that this will most certainly be a crazy main event, and he hopes that everyone stays healthy. He doesn’t believe it was necessary to have Kane and Strowman involved here, but he’s interested in seeing how this is going to play out. He thinks Strowman will get laid out early in this match and this will basically turn into a 4 on 3.
Taz knows that WWE reunited The Shield for financial reasons but he doesn’t think it was a smart decision. WWE put a lot of time, effort and money into building three of those guys as singles talents and he doesn’t think it was necessary to put them back together at this point. Regardless, he assumes they’ll be kept together for a while now, perhaps through the rest of the year and into 2018.
