Dave Meltzer speculated on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that the rumored match of Brock Lesnar vs. Finn Balor will probably take place at next year’s Royal Rumble event.
Meltzer says that the company has been pushing for the match and Balor continues to talk about Lesnar in various interviews. Meltzer said that the last chance for the match to take would be at the Royal Rumble event.
As of this writing, Lesnar is rumored to face Jinder Mahal at next month’s Survivor Series. Meltzer says that Lesnar will work the upcoming Royal Rumble event in January but he can not confirm Lesnar’s status for the RAW-brand pay-per-view event in February.
