Garcia asks O’Neil about his suspension. O’Neil says it’s water under the bridge at this point, but he still has no idea why he was suspended. As Vince McMahon walked past him that night he put his hand up and said, “Ladies first”. He assumes that McMahon felt as if he embarrassed him in front of everyone that night and even if he disagrees with that sentiment, he accepted ownership and served his suspension.
He informs that he had a tremendous relationship with McMahon and he still does to this day. They have spoken about the events that occurred that night and he believes that they’ve both moved on from it at this point.
Moving forward, O’Neil says he’s going to continue to make the best of any situation that he’s in on WWE programming. He points out that Apollo Crews is having the most fun of his career right now and he believes that the ‘Titus Brand’ can help plenty of other lost talents on WWE’s roster.
That sums up this week’s episode of Lillian Garcia’s Chasing Glory. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
