He does point out that Neville is the type of performer who can probably do very well for himself on the indie scene. He has been a focal point of WWE programming for the last few years and had a recent run as the Cruiserweight Champion, for this reason his services should be in high demand on the indie circuit.
Regardless, Taz believes that Neville is far too valuable to WWE and he doubts they’ll let him walk away without trying to convince him to stay. Taz points out that Neville would be a very good addition to the United Kingdom Title scene because since the UK Tournament that division has really fallen by the wayside.
He thinks that Neville would add a significant level of legitimacy to that division and along with talents like Tyler Bate, Trent Seven and Pette Dunne, he can help build the UK Title. He also thinks it would be smart of NXT to start incorporating more UK storylines into their programming and Neville would obviously be a big part of that, perhaps playing the role of ‘owner’ or something of that nature.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
