Taz discusses Bray Wyatt’s ‘Sister Abigail’ alter ego. He thinks WWE really missed the boat with this storyline, and he hopes WWE changes their direction in this case before it’s too late. According to WWE.com’s RAW preview for tonight, Finn Balor is going to go face-to-face with Abigail. Taz assumes this will just be Bray Wyatt in makeup, but he’s still holding out hope that we’ll see a female performer portray that character.
He says the idea of someone like Ruby Rose portraying Sister Abigail really interests him. Rose, with her tattoos and rugged look, would appear to be the perfect fit for the Abigail character. The more Taz thinks about this though, he believes it would be interesting to cast someone completely opposite of Rose in this role. He thinks a beautiful, clean-looking woman portraying the Abigail character would be a contrast to what people would expect from a member of the Wyatt Family, and that could be very effective.
He goes on to say that there are so many talented women in WWE right now, and there are plenty more working on the indie scene. Taz would prefer that WWE go outside of the company to find a woman to portray Abigail so that the performer would be brand new to the WWE Universe. He urges WWE to spend some money on this storyline and do it right; if they’re just going to have Bray put makeup on they should scrap it now.
