Russo has no idea how someone like Balor, who’s so bad at promos, could have possibly made it to the biggest promotion in the world. Bolin mentions that you can put a Manager with most talents to help with the promo work but Balor is so small that he would be dwarfed by any Manager that you put by his side.
Lane menions that WWE appears to be working towards a Finn Balor/Brock Lesnar main event at Survivor Series. Russo and Bolin both laugh out loud at the notion of Balor having a competitive match against Lesnar, and Russo assumes that those rumours are not true.
Russo thought it was a terrible decision by WWE to take the Cruiserweight Title off of Enzo Amore this early into his Title run. Lane agrees and says that WWE undid all of the great work they had done on 205 Live in this one match by taking the Title off of Amore and putting it around the waist of Kalisto, someone who nobody cares about.
Lane thought that Smackdown Live got off to a terrible start this week. He feels that the Shane McMahon/Kevin Owens storyline should have kicked off the show and should have been the running theme throughout the entire 2-hour broadcast. He also says that it’s outrageous that the WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal, wasn’t booked on this show.
