Block 2:
He also loved the opening promo segment between The Usos and The New Day. Taz thinks The Usos’ gimmick is the realest act on WWE programming right now, so when they extended their hands to The New Day out of respect it felt believable. Taz was somewhat confused by the fact that when Daniel Bryan interrupted them he appeared to be acting rather heelish, and there wasn’t any explanation for that.
Taz points out that Breezango got a real nice pop when they made their way to the ring last night, and he wouldn’t have been opposed to seeing those guys pick up the win. Nonetheless, Gable and Benjamin picked up the victory and they should be able to have some great matches with The Usos moving forward.
He thinks WWE needs to stop whatever they’re doing with James Ellsworth right now. Carmella has Ellsworth on a leash and she drags him around the arena but Taz doesn’t see any need for this on WWE programming. He also says that Carmella continues to improve in the ring and her learning curve has been quite steep since debuting in NXT a few years ago.
It appears that we’ll have a rematch between Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode. He thinks that WWE should let these guys go out to the ring and tear the house down in their next match. They’re both tremendous talents but they were placed in a terrible position on the card at Hell in A Cell.
