They both lost in the opening round of the Cruiserweight Classic but they pulled Triple H aside at the tapings and gave him a quick sales pitch. Regardless of how the tournament played out, they were both very proud of what they accomplished by simply making it on a WWE production.
They were eventually brought into 205 Live as a tag team and competed in the very first match in 205 Live history. Unfortunately they were sent back down to the Performance Centre for further development shortly thereafter which was very difficult for them.
Jericho recalls talking to them at this time and telling them that being sent back to the Performance Centre is the best thing that could happen to them. Looking back now The Singh bros agree because they learned so much from guys like Terry Taylor, Steve Corino and Shawn Michaels.
They say that Michaels told them to make sure they made their bumps memorable, and that’s what led to the now infamous bump when Randy Orton threw one of them over the announce table. In the Punjabi Prison match Orton threw one of them off of the side of the structure as well. They’re determined to make sure people remember them and if taking bumps like that is what it takes to make that happen, they’re going to do it.
