Block 3:
Taz adds that 47-years old is fairly old in the wrestling business, and McMahon will probably walk away from in-ring action after last night’s bout in his opinion. McMahon has taken some huge risks in an effort to entertain fans, and when your last name is McMahon it’s fairly evident that you don’t need to do those things.
Taz says that he tweeted out last night calling WWE’s ring announcer, Greg Hamilton, a ‘mark’ for himself. Hamilton’s trademark ‘One Fall’ line got under Taz’s skin, and he doesn’t think there’s any need for that. He understands that fans seem to like it and they chant it lovingly, but in Taz’s opinion it’s just not necessary.
He really enjoyed the triple threat match for the United States Championship. He thinks it’s great that Corbin is finally being given a Title run and he’s excited to see what Corbin does with this opportunity. Taz just wishes that Corbin would have pinned Styles for the win, because he feels that Tye Dillinger was a sacrificial lamb in his role.
Taz thought Dillinger made the most of his opportunity and had a pretty good night overall, but there’s no doubt that he was placed in this match solely to take the pin from Corbin. By doing this, WWE managed to get the Title on Corbin without having to pin Styles.
