Russo points out that when Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens fought in the concourse area of the arena on Smackdown Live, a couple of wrestlers from Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling were working as extras. He says that if a local indie performer is hired to work on a RAW or Smackdown Live broadcast they should do something to get the attention of WWE officials because if they don’t, they’re simply an extra.
He says that one of those extras should have attacked Shane or Owens from behind to make a name for themselves. In his opinion it would have been impossible for WWE to ignore this because it would have been a part of the biggest program on WWE programming right now. Unless you have a family member in the business it’s nearly impossible to get hired by WWE, so sometimes you need to do something drastic to get their attention.
That sums up today’s episode of Vince Russo’s The Brand. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
