Garcia thinks that Fox is being too hard on herself. She thinks that Fox needs to start focusing on all of the positive things she has accomplished in WWE, and all the great things she does on a day-to-day basis. Fox says she’s constantly searching for validation in regards to her wrestling career, but Garcia points out that her validation is that WWE has kept her around for 11 years.
Apart from Garcia herself, Fox is the longest-tenured female member of the WWE roster. Fox admits that her lengthy career is something that she’s proud of, and she hopes to continue wrestling as long as she’s healthy. However, she admits that travelling is starting to become bothersome and if other opportunities arise she’s not afraid to take a leap of faith.
Fox says she wants to thank her fans for sticking by her side because if she was a fan of Alicia Fox, she probably would have stopped caring a long time ago. She wants her fans to know that she’s just another person living life day-to-day, and she doesn’t want to be idolized by anyone.
That sums up this week’s episode of Chasing Glory with Lillian Garcia. You can listen to the show yourself here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
