The Young Bucks were quoted after the invasion, saying this was an important moment that will be remembered for years. Russo isn’t so sure that’s the case. He informs that when he was working in TNA, Bob Ryder brought The Young Bucks in for a tryout match and after the match Russo told Ryder to hire them. He knows they have the ‘It’ factor, but he also thinks they’re marks.
Russo says that when DX invaded WCW it was part of a television show, and they wrote that angle for ratings. He wonders why The Bullet Club did this last Monday. Gilbertti says that social media is very important today, and they were doing this for their social media fan base which is quite large.
In an interview last week, Triple H was asked about why he takes pictures with all new NXT Champions. Triple H answered by saying he doesn’t necessarily want to take those pictures every time a new Champion is crowned, but he has to do it. The company feels that Triple H can help get those new Champions over by having them pictured with him, since he is an established talent with over 6 Million Twitter followers.
Russo and Gilbertti agree that this was a good answer by Triple H, and he’s absolutely right in saying he can help these talents get over just by taking a picture with them. However, Russo wonders why Triple H wouldn’t just take a picture with all of the NXT talents in that case. Gilbertti points out that if Triple H did that it would lose it’s importance.
