Blocks 3 & 4:
Taz speaks about the reports of a fan rushing the ring during an NXT live event over the weekend. Taz urges fans not to rush the ring because once you do that, you’re open to an ass-kicking from any of the Superstars in the ring. Apparently NXT Superstar Kyle O’Reilly got a few stiff shots in on this fan over the weekend, and Taz has no sympathy for any fans who interrupt a show to rush the ring.
He recalls walking to the ring during an ECW show at one point and a fan decided to reach over the rail and grab the black towel from the top of his head. Taz got very angry very quick, jumped the guardrail and chased down the fan. He retrieved the towel and made sure the fan knew that stealing the towel from his head wasn’t a good idea.
Taz has also seen fans get so out of control that they got dragged into the wrestlers’ locker room. He says that on some of those occasions he had to walk away because it became uncomfortable to watch those situations unfold. However, Taz says that in most cases these fans got exactly what they deserved. He also says he has never seen a professional wrestler initiate a conflict with a fan; wrestlers only react aggressively if they feel threatened.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
