Bischoff is joined on today’s show by his co-host Nick Hausman.
Bischoff opens today’s show speaking about John Cena’s dramatic exit at No Mercy. He assumed that Cena was phasing himself out of a full-time WWE schedule for a while now, so this finish didn’t surprise Bischoff. Cena has been pulling more than his fair share of weight for that company for an awfully long time now, and Bischoff is actually surprised Cena didn’t make this transition to a lighter schedule sooner.
Speaking about the rumoured WrestleMania 34 match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, Bischoff says he’d rather the main event be Roman Reigns versus A.J. Styles. If WWE does move forward with Reigns/Lesnar, Bischoff hopes Reigns wins because he thinks the Universal Title picture needs to be freshened up somewhat.
Bischoff wonders if The Bullet Club’s invasion of Monday Night RAW last week was as successful as they had hoped it would be. He points out that this type of thing had been done before by DX when they invaded WCW, and it’s hard to create the same type of impact when you’re the not the first to do something.
