He thinks it was very petty of WWE to have every Superstar come out after RAW went off air and beat up Amore. He knows that Vince McMahon was in the Gorilla position laughing his ass off and sending all those guys out to teach Amore a lesson, but Russo thinks that’s ridiculous. He loves that WWE tried to bury Amore but Amore shoved that down their throats and got over anyway with a few minutes of mic time each week.
Getting into his Smackdown Live analysis, he says that although he likes Baron Corbin, there’s no way he’s sitting through a Tye Dillinger match. He also couldn’t believe that WWE Champion Jinder Mahal didn’t have a full entrance, and he finds it hard to believe that this is the best program WWE creative had for both of these guys.
Russo believes that Dolph Ziggler’s impersonation of The Undertaker was terrible, and he hasn’t liked this gimmick from day one. He also says that if the gimmick had to happen, Ziggler was the wrong person to utilize for it.
He also says that the commentators ‘absolutely suck’. They’re all nameless, faceless individuals whose words are unbelievable. The way they called the main event between Owens and Zayn was the perfect example of this in Russo’s opinion.
That sums up today’s episode of Vince Russo’s The Brand. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
